Issues? Covered.

At Black Birch, we have strict component testing to make sure only the best rods are being built and sold. We test every single blank for defects, each guide for cracking, and only use the highest quality materials for your rod.

However, things sometimes go wrong. You need to know your rod is covered. We offer a limited-lifetime company warranty from any defects in the rod not induced by regular use. If something does happen to go wrong, reach out to us, and we will work with you on getting a replacement. In order for your rods warranty to become active, you must register your rod with us within 60 days of purchase*.

Black Birchs’ Warranty covers defects in the material, and if you believe that your rod qualifies for our guarantee, head over to the Contact Us section, and we will work with you. We will require a detailed explanation, along with photos of the failed aspect of your rod.

What is covered under your Limited-Lifetime Warranty?

  • Cracking of the Carbon Blank (under normal use)

For an extra cost, you can upgrade to our no fault warranty, which provides a warranty of 5 years, and covers whatever you could possibly do to your rod. Getting caught in a doorway? Sure! Snapped during shore lunch? Covered. Break the tip on your cabin window? Absolutely. All you do is contact us, send it back, and we will get you the equivelent model in a timely matter.

Warranty Registration

Whether you are registering your limited lifetime warranty or your Boats, Doors, and Windows warranty, your process is the same. Your rod has a specific serial number written somewhere near the hook-keeper. You will need to e-mail warrantyblackbirch@outlook.com, with your serial number within 60 days of purchase. You will be required to show proof of purchase, your name, email, and phone number, along with the serial off your new Black Birch Fishing Rod.

If you opt into the Boats, Doors, and Windows warranty, you will also need to include your specific code generated during your purchase. That will then also be included in the registration process. If at some point you make use of this warranty, you will then need to purchase warranty again if you want to not have to worry about your custom rod for the next 5 years, but all rods will be covered under the limited lifetime warranty regardless of replacement, as long as you are the original owner.
